Julia Resnick (Z)
Julia Resnick is thrilled to be a part of bringing this brand-new play to life! A recent graduate of Point Park University, she was most recently in the Pittsburgh Playhouse production of Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia as Chloe Coverly. Other recent credits include Ester (Dry Land), Loud Stone (Eurydice), Muriel McComber (Ah, Wilderness!), the Courier (1776), Cat in the Hat (Seussical), and Beth March (Little Women). Thank you to Jules and Bradly for this opportunity, and to Mom, Dad, and Grandpa for all the love and support!

Abby Mulligan (she/they) is thrilled to be making her New York debut as X in Spooky Town! As a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, this is her first professional role and she is so glad to have such an amazing cast and team to work on this new work with. Previous stage credits include Drag Jesus (when Claudia sees god), Maria (Loves Labours Lost), and Corporal (The Caucasian Chalk Circle). MEGAN GWYN (they/them) is a southern born classical actor based out of Astoria, NY. Leila Bruske is so excited to be bringing this show to life for Frigid's Days of The Dead Festival! She has been lucky enough to perform regionally, on tour, and in NYC. Favorite credits include Ilse in Spring Awakening, Claire in Ordinary Days, and Nick Bottom in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. She is a co-founder of Restoration Theatre Co., which had its debut performance this past August and aims to recontextualize legit musical theatre and prioritize storytelling in an industry dominated by ornamentation. Julia Everitt (she/her) is a NYC-based playwright whose work spans genres including horror, drama, comedy, and absurdism. She has written 37 stage plays of various lengths, with productions of Down to the Wire, It Told Me To, Take Me Home, Pears, Copper Royale (excerpt), and Opening Up, as well as her radio plays I Let Them Out, The Phone Booth on Sixth Street, Dark Angel, and The Bubak. Her plays have been produced/presented in New York City, Chicago, Indianapolis, Port Jefferson, Flint, Iowa City, and Morgantown by companies including Human Pincushion Productions, The Shrill Collective, Wildclaw Theatre, M.T. Pockets Theatre, Theatre Three, the University of Iowa, and Flint Repertory Theatre.
She’s especially thrilled to share Spooky Town as part of FRIGID New York's Days of the Dead Festival, as her first time producing a play within a theatre festival. In 2019, Julia accidentally co-founded the horror theatre company Human Pincushion Productions, where she co-wrote and co-produced the original horror anthology The Monsters You Meet in the Dark.
Julia launched her professional playwriting career at 19 with her first production at Wildclaw Theatre’s Deathscribe Festival. She holds a B.A. in English on the Creative Writing track, a B.S. in Economics, and a Theatre minor from the University of Iowa, as well as an M.S. in Marketing from the College of William & Mary. Pallak Malhotra is a professional makeup artist specialising in beauty, character, and special effects makeup for film and television. A graduate of the Make-Up Designory’s Master Certification Program, Pallak has developed a strong foundation in both practical and creative artistry. She has recently worked on a 48-Hour Film Project in Charlotte, NC, contributing to the visual storytelling and character design on set. With a passion for transformative makeup and on-screen detail, Pallak continues to expand her work across short film, independent production, and theatre stage management.
